Note: All this week at DGUSA.tv we will preview each first round match in the tournament to crown the first Open The Freedom Gate Champion on November 28th in Philadelphia at The Arena. This is the third of four installments. Please leave your comments on this match at the end of this article.

BxB Hulk and Brian Kendrick have a lot in common. They both have charisma, personality and some fine dancing skills. Most importantly, they are coming to the tournament thinking about "Redemption." DGUSA officials made this first round match with that in mind.

Despite their considerable talent, Hulk and Kendrick are both 0-1 in DGUSA. Hulk was in the first ever DGUSA bout, losing in a competitive, back-and-forth battle against YAMATO. Kendrick made his DGUSA debut at "Open The Untouchable Gate" in Chicago, dropping the contest to CIMA. Both men are main event talents, now they need the wins to back that up. One will advance, while the other goes to 0-2.

Why BxB Hulk will win: It really is simple. He is a premiere talent. He is hungry and determined after losing to YAMATO, costing him a booking on the second DGUSA event. BxB Hulk is also extremely popular in Philly and will have crowd support.

Why Brian Kendrick will win: He can blame the CIMA loss on "sports entertainment" ring rust. Now Kendrick knows what to expect with the DGUSA style. This will be his debut in The Arena. He will enter the ring just as determined as Hulk.

Once again, we have another first round match that can considered a pick 'em. Both Kendrick and Hulk match up very evenly. They each want nothing more than to be the first DGUSA Champion. Who will win? Leave us your thoughts below.
