February 3rd: We finally have an official update on Open The Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano. Anyone who saw "EVOLVE 10: A Tribute To The Arena" witnessed one of gutsiest performances in recent memory as Gargano struggled through a back injury to retain the title in a grueling 25 minute match against Ricochet. After several trips to a specialist the injury has been diagnosed as a grade 3 muscle tear in various muscles in Gargano's lower back. Gargano's lower back is still numb to the touch and he is still having trouble walking properly. Other symptoms include bad swelling, a bulge in the muscle and severe pain. These are all things Gargano felt immediately after the match, including when he was prone on the mat for several minutes after Ricochet tapped. The fact Gargano was able to finish and win this match shows the amount of heart and drive he possesses. Athletes can expect to miss 3-12 weeks of competition due to the injury.
February 3rd: This diagnosis leads us to DGUSA events in Miami on March 30th & 31st and EVOLVE on April 13th in Toronto, which fall in this 3-12 week time span. Gargano is working his hardest to be able to perform on these cards. However, he must think long term. We cannot confirm now that Gargano will be in action. However, business must continue. There is some talk of stripping Gargano of the DGUSA Title if he cannot defend it and holding a tournament in Miami to determine a new champion. At the same time, DGUSA officials don't want to put pressure on Gargano to enter the ring before he is ready in order to remain champion. There really is no right answer in this situation. It is possible Gargano could be 100% for Miami anyway. Right now, no decisions are being made as we will see how things progress next week. There is pressure as DGUSA officials do have to start signing matches for this huge weekend in Miami and EVOLVE card in Toronto. Of course, holding a tournament would throw off current plans. We will keep you updated here in DGUSA.tv News Alerts.
January 31st: CIMA is now out of Blood Warriors in both Dragon Gate and DGUSA after last Friday's "Open The Golden Gate" event in Los Angeles. Akira Tozawa and BxB Hulk have formed a rogue duo and kicked CIMA out of the group. After last Friday, it does seem clear that Ricochet has sided with CIMA. We will keep an eye on what happens in Japan when Ricochet returns.
January 31st: Low Ki made some very interesting challenges for Miami at the end of last Friday's event. DGUSA officials are going to meet with Ki and his representatives in the next few days to discuss these challenges.
January 31st: Sabu has vowed to get revenge on Sami Callihan for the ending of EVOLVE 10. Sabu vs. Callihan will happen sooner than later.
January 31st: We apologize to the fans at WrestleReunion for Rich Swann no showing. We want to thank Scorpio Sky for being a great replacement in the last minute. Sky impressed DGUSA/EVOLVE officials tremendously and would be a welcome addition to either company.

January 23rd: In major breaking news, DGUSA Champion Johnny Gargano will be unable to make this Friday's "Open The Golden Gate" event in Los Angeles due to the back injury he suffered at EVOLVE 10 just over a week ago. We apologize for this cancellation. However, just added is Low Ki in his DGUSA debut! On top of it, Ki will face the former DGUSA Champion BxB Hulk in a first time ever match. This could main event any show. Tickets are now available at WrestleReunion.com and the live iPPV can be pre-ordered at WWNLive.com.
January 23rd: As you probably know, BxB Hulk was originally supposed to face off with Sami Callihan this Friday. When word got to Callihan and AR Fox that there would be a lineup change, both immediately contacted the DGUSA office and demanded a match against each other. After EVOLVE 10 this will be intense. In fact, we don't expect Callihan or Fox to follow the rules. This Friday in Los Angeles will be AR Fox vs. Sami Callihan in an Anything Goes Match.
January 23rd: The Young Bucks of Nick & Matt Jackson will now face Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann of Ronin in a straight tag team match. This could steal the entire show!

January 17th: Open The Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano suffered a back injury in the opening minute of his match against Ricochet last Saturday. He toughed out a 25 minute title defense and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after the match. He made it home to Cleveland the next day where he is under care and supervision. Doctors still aren't sure what the injury is and we will keep you updated when we get info. Here are Gargano's words about this injury and match.
January 17th: EVOLVE does not endorse the actions of Sami Callihan at the end of the event last Saturday in Philadelphia. We apologize to anyone who was offended. However, it did happen and we will not ignore it. We will have more on this in the upcoming days.
January 17th: Low Ki made his surprise EVOLVE debut last Saturday at EVOLVE 10 to open up the card. Ki is now in Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE. He is confirmed for DGUSA on 3/30 & 3/31 in Miami and EVOLVE on 4/13 in Toronto. He will be on more events. Ki is here to "take his profession back." We'll have much more on this in the upcoming days, including the video of the entire debut segment.
January 17th: Jon Davis called out Dave "Fit" Finlay for a future match last Saturday. We emailed Finlay about it and Finlay said he doesn't respond to challenges in email, he responds to them face-to-face. Stay tuned.
January 17th: Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann continue to make their case to be #1 contenders for the DGUSA Tag Team Titles held by CIMA & Ricochet by winning the show stealing match against The Super Smash Brothers last Saturday. CIMA & Ricochet seem to be finding every excuse in the book not to put the titles on the line against Ronin. Taylor & Swann will keep a close eye on the CIMA & Ricochet title defense against Masaaki Mochizuki & Jimmy Susumu on 1/27 in Los Angeles. Their only chance to actually get a shot at the belts could be if Mochizuki & Susumu win.
January 13th: You can pre-order this Saturday's EVOLVE live iPPV now at WWNLive.com and witness this statement show live as it happens.

January 9th: Joey Styles will also take part in a very unique picture opportunity. You will be able to get your picture taken in the middle of the ring at the former ECW Arena before the EVOLVE event. You can pose with Styles, who will be acting like he is interviewing you. Styles was part of some of wrestling's most memorable interviews and happenings in the middle of the Arena. Now you have a once-in-a-lifetime picture opportunity. Styles will also sign autographs.
January 9th: The cat is out of the bag. New Jack will be one of the guests at EVOLVE next week. There's no telling what will happen when New Jack is in the former ECW Arena.
January 9th: Cloudy has told EVOLVE officials not to suspend Cheech for Cheech's post-match attack after they teamed at EVOLVE 9. Instead, Cloudy wants a match with him. It has been signed. January 14th will have Cloudy (0-0) vs. Cheech (0-0) in a grudge match. The best revenge for Cloudy will be giving Cheech his first loss.

January 9th: Masato Yoshino and Jimmy Susumu (Yokosuka) will be the head trainers for the DGUSA Seminar/Tryout on 1/26 in LA at the Westin LAX (same location as WrestleReunion convention). We can confirm that at least one participant will be booked on the 1/27 LA show. If more impress then more participants will be added to the card. This is your chance to get on live iPPV and in DGUSA/EVOLVE.
January 2nd: Sami Callihan (3-2) vs. Bobby Fish (1-4) is confirmed for "EVOLVE 10: A Tribute To The Arena" on January 14th in Philadelphia at the former ECW Arena. This is a rematch from a semi-final match at EVOLVE 8 in the Style Battle tournament. You can pre-order the live iPPV at WWNLive.com now.
January 2nd: Jon Davis (0-1) vs. Kyle Matthews (0-0) has also just been signed for 1/14 in Philly. Both need a win! This is Matthews' EVOLVE debut. He impressed DGUSA officials at "Open The Southern Gate" last year and will now get a huge opportunity on January 14th.

January 2nd: Cloudy has been given the option on what EVOLVE officials should do about Cheech after EVOLVE 9. Cheech attacked his partner, Cloudy, after their match. If you attack your opponent before or after the bell in EVOLVE it is a fine and possible suspension. However, this is the first time a competitor has attacked his own partner. We'll have word from Cloudy soon.
January 1st: We want to remind you that the Save More Offer ends this Monday night. Go to the main page and read the December 28th item for more info. The WWNLive.com Holiday Season Sale, which has all DGUSA & EVOLVE iPPVs at 33% off and just $9.99, also ends this Monday.
January 1st: CIMA defeated Masaaki Mochizuki on Christmas night in Japan to win The Open The Dream Gate Title. Blood Warriors now hold all the titles in Japan going into 2012. In fact, CIMA is now a double champion as he holds the DGUSA Tag Team Titles with Ricochet. The only belt that Blood Warriors does not control is Johnny Gargano's Open The Freedom Gate Title. This could change at "EVOLVE 10: A Tribute To The Arena" on January 14th in Philly when Gargano defends vs. Ricochet.
January 1st: Masato Yoshino vs. Naruki Doi has been signed for January 27th in Los Angeles. This is the feud that divided the entire Dragon Gate roster into Junction Three and Blood Warriors. These two have fought all over the world and now this one-on-one match is coming to LA. Go to www.WrestleReunion.com for tickets.
January 1st: EVOLVE officials have confirmed some "extreme surprises" for EVOLVE 10 on January 14th at The Asylum Arena in South Philadelphia. This card will be broadcast on worldwide live iPPV at WWNLive.com. You can pre-order it now. This is the final show at the legendary Arena and EVOLVE is pulling out all the stops to make sure the building goes out the right way. This is a night that anyone who has ever attended a show at the former ECW Arena will never forget. Second row tickets are now selling fast in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.
December 23rd: CIMA & Ricochet will defend the DGUSA Tag Team Titles against Masaaki Mochizuki & Jimmy Susumu (Yokosuka) on the January 27th event in Los Angeles. CIMA & Ricochet were very difficult in the negotiation for this match. At first, they refused to defend the titles against Ronin. Then they agreed to grant Junction Three a rematch since they won the belts from PAC & Masato Yoshino. However, Junction Three threw a curveball and selected Mochizuki & Susumu as the challengers. The rivalry between Mochizuki and CIMA has heated up recently since they will have a match for the Open The Dream Gate Title on Christmas night. Susumu pinned Ricochet in DGUSA earlier this year. Junction Three believes that the powerful, hard-hitting duo of Mochizuki & Susumu will win the Open The United Gate Titles in LA. Tickets are now on sale at WrestleReunion.com.
December 23rd: PAC vs. Akira Tozawa has also been signed for 1/27 in LA. This is a rematch of "Mercury Rising 2011" in Atlanta, which was one of the best matches of the year.
December 23rd: It was confirmed this week that the January 14th EVOLVE card will definitely be the final wrestling event in the building as we know it. February will see all the walls knocked down including the bathroom area, "eagle's nest" and all interior walls demolished. The era of the former ECW Arena ends on January 14th. As a result, EVOLVE will now title the show "EVOLVE 10: A Tribute To The Arena" for this special night. The last official match in the building will be Johnny Gargano vs. Ricochet for the Open The Freedom Gate Title. The event will then close with a special ceremony with several legendary guests who have made history in that building. This will include those who paved an extreme legacy. We'll have much more after Christmas. Tickets are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.
December 23rd: The Scene of Scott Reed & Caleb Konley (1-0) vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds (0-0) has been signed for EVOLVE 10. December 16th: There were several matches announced in yesterday's Email News Express for EVOLVE 10 on January 14th in Philadelphia at the world famous Asylum Arena (former ECW Arena). The union between EVOLVE and DGUSA is in full effect starting on this event. Many matches have ramifications on both promotions.
December 16th: Tag team action at EVOLVE 10 will have Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann of Ronin (0-0) vs. Super Smash Brothers of Player Uno & Player Dos (1-1). This is a perfect example of what the DGUSA/EVOLVE union brings to the table. This marks Ronin's first match as a team in EVOLVE as Taylor & Swann try to earn a DGUSA Title shot. Meanwhile, the Super Smash Brothers are coming off a win at EVOLVE 9 and a victory here would not only continue their momentum in EVOLVE, but it would position them to make an impact in DGUSA. The winner will also get above .500 while the loser will sink below it. As you can see, the outcome of this match has several ramifications.
December 16th: AR Fox (2-0) vs. Jigsaw (0-0) has been signed for Philly. Jigsaw is trying to establish himself as a singles competitor in EVOLVE and build momentum for an inevitable return to DGUSA. AR Fox is undefeated and the Style Battle tournament winner. This first-time-ever match could steal the show.
December 16th: Pinkie Sanchez (1-0) vs. Uhaa Nation (0-0) has also been signed for January 14th. Can Nation also make an impact in EVOLVE? Tickets are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.
December 16th: The wrestling related tenants of The Asylum Arena (former ECW Arena) are meeting with the new ownership in the next few days. We should know more about the future of the building then. As it stands now, EVOLVE 10 is the last scheduled wrestling event in that historic venue.
December 16th: All three DVDs from DGUSA's anniversary weekend are now in stock and shipping from the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744. You can save money by getting all three together with the DGUSA Anniversary Weekend 3 DVD Special, which is the first item listed in the DGUSA DVD section of the Store. December 12th: New Open The Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano will make his first title defense at EVOLVE 10 on January 14th at The Asylum Arena in South Philadelphia. 2011's hottest wrestler, Ricochet, will step up to challenge Gargano. This is a battle between two athletes who emerged as stars in the past year. It also continues the Ronin vs. Blood Warriors feud. Ricochet is already the Open The Brave Gate Gate Champion in Dragon Gate and one half of the DGUSA Tag Team Champions. He ended PAC's historic title reign to win the Brave Gate Title. He has also already won the Open The Twin Gate and Open The Triangle Gate Titles in Japan in the past year. Now Ricochet is looking to add to his all star resume by winning the DGUSA Title on January 14th at EVOLVE 10. Tickets are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.

It now looks like 1/27 in LA will be the only DGUSA event in January.
December 8th: After some intense meetings and discussion, EVOLVE officials have decided not to change anything when it comes to the Records and Leader Board. The only thing now is that Records and the Leader Board will lead to DGUSA bookings and title shots. In addition, EVOLVE will keep the same presentation as well as rules and regulations. The only exception is now competitors can freely move back and forth from singles and tag team competition. We'll have more in the About EVOLVE section soon.

- The DGUSA Champion and DGUSA Tag Team Champions will be acknowledged as the top title holders in EVOLVE. There will be possible title defenses in EVOLVE depending on the champions' availability. There is a possibility of an EVOLVE Title in 2012, which would also be defended in DGUSA.

November 21st: Ricochet made history by defeating PAC to win the Open The Brave Gate Title on November 19th in Osaka, Japan. PAC held the Brave Gate Title longer than any champion has held any title in Dragon Gate. Ricochet is now a triple title holder with the Brave Gate Title as well as being half of the Open The United Gate and Open The Twin Gate Champions with CIMA. What makes this even more amazing is that Ricochet is just finishing his first full year in Japan. It is unheard of for anyone to win one title during their first year, nevermind three major championships. Congrats to Ricochet.
November 21st: As you know there will be a major announcement on Black Friday right here at DGUSA.tv. We can leak now that one part of this announcement will involve some changes to DGUSA.tv, which will make the website more convenient for you.

September 23rd: DGUSA is very proud of our homegrown talent roster. That roster will be put to the test on November 12th in Philadelphia. The theme of that night will be DGUSA homegrown talent vs. Dragon Gate veterans. This is already proven in the main event when Chuck Taylor challenges for the DGUSA Title against YAMATO. Now another title bout has been added using this theme...
September 23rd: Sami Callihan & Arik Cannon of D.U.F. will challenge CIMA & Ricochet for the Open The United Gate Titles on 11/12 in Philly. Callihan & Cannon have an impressive resume in DGUSA with victories over Dark City Fight Club, Masaaki Mochizuki & Susumu Yokosuka and YAMATO & AR Fox. They are the rightful #1 contenders and they will get their shot in Philly. Ricochet insisted in being included on the Dragon Gate veteran side instead of being called a DGUSA homegrown talent since he has risen as a main event level star in Japan and has already won two Dragon Gate titles. Tickets are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.
September 23rd: The November 13th event in Manhattan will be the final DGUSA show of the year. We can't think of a better time to do the blowoff matches for DGUSA's biggest rivalries and feuds of 2011. PAC vs. Ricochet has been an issue all year. Their three match series earlier this month provided inhuman, athletic, awe-inspiring bouts, but nothing was settled. Now it will be on November 13th. New York City will get PAC vs. Ricochet in one last singles match. This isn't about being the best high-flyer anymore, it is about being the best wrestler and the better man. Tickets now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.
September 14th: We will have much more news later this week coming out of last weekend, but in this edition of News Alerts we are going to focus on three major matches that have been signed for November. Tickets to all these events are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.
September 14th: YAMATO vs. BxB Hulk in a No DQ No Rope Non-Title Match has been signed for November 11th in Revere, MA. This is the biggest possible grudge match in Dragon Gate in Japan. Now it is coming to the United States for the first time. YAMATO and Hulk have a deep history against each other, dating back to the opening match on the very first DGUSA show. We'll have much more on this bout soon.
September 14th: Chuck Taylor will challenge Open The Freedom Gate Champion YAMATO on November 12th in Philadelphia. Taylor won the rights to this match last Saturday in Chicago, but that does not mean there isn't some controversy. We'll expand on this soon.
September 14th: It will be Johnny Gargano vs. YAMATO on November 13th in Manhattan. If YAMATO defeats Taylor in Philadelphia, this will be for the Open The Freedom Gate Title. Gargano solidified his spot as a top player last weekend. Now he will battle DGUSA's foremost wrestler of the year candidate in New York City and the title could be on the line.
September 8th: We are trying something different in today's News Alerts. We are going to look at what kind of news several wrestlers can make this Friday in Indianapolis, Saturday in Chicago and Sunday in Milwaukee. Go to the DGUSA.tv main page for ticket info.
-CIMA: The Dragon Gate Icon can make news by winning the DGUSA Title in Chicago and then becoming a double tag team champion in Milwaukee.
-PAC and Ricochet: We are listing these two rivals together because they can each make news by winning their series against each other over all three events this weekend. One will be a double tag team champion after Milwaukee.
-Sabu: The ECW original and legend can make news by simply making his DGUSA debut in Chicago.
-Masato Yoshino: He can make news by becoming a double tag team champion along with PAC in Milwaukee.
-Brodie Lee: He can make news by, ummm, we aren't sure because all he has said is he's "coming to kick some ass" this weekend. There's no telling what will happen with Brodie Lee.
-Ronin of Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano & Rich Swann: They can make news by moving into title contention and gaining the upperhand in their feud against Blood Warriors. Gargano can make news by tapping out both Akira Tozawa in Chicago and Naruki Doi in Milwaukee.
-D.U.F. of Sami Callihan, Arik Cannon & Pinkie Sanchez: They can make news by taking out Sabu in Chicago and beating AR Fox and YAMATO in Milwaukee. Callihan can make news by scoring the biggest win of his career against Naruki Doi in Indianapolis.
-Jon Davis: He can make news by winning all three of his matches this weekend and establishing himself as a force in DGUSA.
-Tag Team Discovery: This concept can make news in Indianapolis, Chicago and Milwaukee because a new tag team might become a force in one weekend.
-Naruki Doi: This Dragon Gate veteran can make news by stopping the new generation of stars from rising.
More news could be made on the IPW bonus card in Indianapolis and Bonus Matches in Chicago and Milwaukee. Go to the DGUSA.tv Live Events section for the complete lineups. Thank you for reading and for your support.
September 6th: The YAMATO vs. CIMA Open The Freedom Gate Title Match this Saturday in Chicago is getting a lot of international attention. YAMATO vs. CIMA is one of the biggest matches in Japan. It can main event any show. Now for the first time this rivalry is coming to the United States. CIMA has momentum after pinning YAMATO in June in Long Island in the Freestyle Match. Can "The Dragon Gate Icon" solidify his legend by winning the DGUSA Title? This is CIMA's first shot at the title since the original tournament at Open The Freedom Gate in November 2009. Both YAMATO and CIMA are coming into this match in peak form.
September 6th: The eyes of the world will then focus on Milwaukee this Sunday for the historic main event. It is Open The United Gate Champions PAC & Masato Yoshino vs. Open The Twin Gate Champions CIMA & Ricochet in a title vs. title match. This is not a unification bout, rather one team will walk out with both championships and the claim of being the greatest tag team in the world. This will also conclude the PAC vs. Ricochet series, which will ta
ke place over three matches in Indianapolis, Chicago and Milwaukee. This is going to be spectacular.
September 6th: This leads us to Friday's main event in Indianapolis when PAC and his selected team of AR Fox & Rich Swann battle Ricochet and his Blood Warriors teammates CIMA & Akira Tozawa. This is a Captain's Match. The only way it can end is if PAC or Ricochet win the fall on each other. PAC wants to make it very clear that he picked Fox and Swann as his partners for a reason. He wants to prove to Ricochet that there are several incredible, creative athletes that can claim to be the sports top high-flyer. It's not just about himself and Ricochet. Meanwhile, Ricochet's ego has grown since becoming a star in Japan and he sees this as an opportunity to put himself above everyone else. This could be the most exciting match of the year.
September 6th: Pinkie Sanchez vs. Louis Lyndon has been added to this Friday's Indianapolis event.
September 6th: Just a reminder that our 30% off DVD & gear sale with the "Chuckie T" code ends tonight at midnight. Go to the DGUSA.tv main page for info on how to use the code. September 6th: There are still spots open in the Seminar/Tryout this Friday in Indianapolis. Several talents will be booked on the show that night. At the very least, this is a great learning experience and rare chance to step in the ring with Dragon Gate veterans Naruki Doi and Akira Tozawa. Go to the DGUSA.tv Seminar/Tryout section for more info. Start time on Friday is 3pm.
September 6th: There are lots of rumors as to who will be taking part in Tag Team Discovery. DGUSA officials are making it very clear that these won't be established tag teams or teams that have tagged for a significant amount of time. The idea is to give new wrestlers a chance to become known and make their reputations. Indianapolis will feature two new teams. The winners will advance to Chicago to wrestle another new team. The winners in Chicago will get a chance of a lifetime in Milwaukee when they face Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann. New stars could be made in one weekend!
September 6th: Silas Young is official for this Sunday's Milwaukee event.
September 1st: In case you missed it on the main page, all DGUSA DVDs and everything in the Gear section of the DGUSA.tv Store is 30% off with the "Chuckie T" code. Go to the DGUSA.tv main page for full details.

This is the Bonus Match for Golden Circle and stage ticket holders. FRAY! starts with 2 men. Another competitor enters every 90 seconds. Eliminations can take place anytime by pinfall, submission or DQ. It goes on until only one is left. Iron will replace Bobby Beverly, who was announced in The Email News Express, but cannot make it now. Other participants include Sugar Dunkerton, Silas Young, Facade, Cedric Alexander, Marion Fountaine with more to be added. All Golden Circle tickets are 30% off until 9/7 in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744. The tickets are already discounted so no code is needed.
