The Dragon Gate Scout Caravan returns in 2012. This consists of seminars and tryouts. This is a huge opportunity for wrestlers on the United States independent scene. There will be several seminars and tryouts in 2012. The next one will take place on March 30 in Miami Beach, FL.

The Dragon Gate Scout Caravan presents wrestlers of all experience levels the opportunity to learn the Dragon Gate system from the top Dragon Gate wrestlers, get seen by all the important staff and even possibly get booked. Normally you would have to travel to Japan and somehow get into the rigid Dragon Gate dojo for this kind of experience. The tryouts and seminars are open to all wrestlers who have completed any pro wrestling training course. This is not for people that have never stepped foot in the ring before.

ATTENTION: We now have a "pay-as-you-go" option for those who have already participated in a Seminar/Tryout. Once you sign up for one Seminar/Tryout, you can attend future Seminars/Tryouts at half price. This is so you can continue your training in the Dragon Gate system and be seen more by the Dragon Gate office. Please email Help@dgusa.tv or call 267-519-9744 for payment arrangements or if you have any questions.

Each Seminar/Tryout in 2010 and 2011 saw wrestlers gain valuable experience. Not only that, but several wrestlers earned a spot on the show that night. Some even appeared on the pay -per-view. Others have received future bookings in DGUSA and its sister promotions. The goal is to find new stars to bring to Japan.

"The Dragon Gate Scout Caravan was a great experience for everyone," DGUSA President Satoshi Oji said. "The top Dragon Gate wrestlers were able to teach our way of training and show new techniques to wrestlers in the United States. We also discovered some impressive wrestlers to be on our shows. We look forward to finding more new talent and spreading the Dragon Gate way."

The tryouts will consist of an opportunity to get into the ring before a DGUSA event in front of Dragon Gate officials and wrestlers including CIMA and the Dragon Gate office staff. Tryout wrestlers will be given the chance to perform in front of this select audience. This could lead to a spot in Dragon Gate USA, one of its partner promotions and even a chance to train and tour in Japan. Not only that, but some tryout wrestlers could even receive an immediate shot on the Bonus Card or main show that night.

"It is hard to get noticed by the Dragon Gate office by just sending an email or video," Oji said. "The seminar and tryouts offer wrestlers a chance to get in the ring and perform in front of the entire Dragon Gate office staff and roster. It is the best way to be seen and meet everyone."

"The seminar and tryouts really opened our eyes to a lot of new talent," DGUSA Vice President Gabe Sapolsky said. "There are many wrestlers that are now on our radar that we didn't know about before. If they had just sent a video or a youtube link they probably still wouldn't be on the radar. There is just too much of a glut of that stuff. Nothing beats getting in front of the office and performing live at the seminar and tryouts."

For those interested in making this into a total learning experience, Dragon Gate USA is pleased to offer Seminars taught by Dragon Gate wrestlers. This means that the techniques and theories of the Dragon Gate system will be taught in North America. The entire Dragon Gate roster will participate, but the Seminars will be run by head trainers. Each Seminar will be taught by different Dragon Gate talent. This will insure that each Seminar will be a different learning experience for those looking to participate in multiple Seminars.

The Seminar will consist of pro wrestling related stretches and exercises. From there you will learn the basics of the Dragon Gate style of wrestling and Mexican techniques. You will be given immediate feedback, advice and an education to this exciting style of wrestling. This experience will look good on any wrestler's resume.

Those that impress and show potential will be given more opportunities with Dragon Gate in Japan, Dragon Gate USA and its partner promotions. You might even end up on the DGUSA card that night. This is the opportunity you've been waiting for to get immediately noticed, improve your skills and just learn the pro wrestling craft from a totally new and different perspective. There is limited space available for both the tryouts and seminar.

The registration fee for a tryout is $49.

The registration fee for the seminar is $149. This includes the tryout registration fee.
